Terms of Service

1. Introduction
Welcome to NotizAI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NotizAI mobile application (the "App") operated by NotizAI ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the App.
2. Use of the App
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. If you are under 18, you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
2.2 User Account
To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@notizai.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
2.3 Permitted Use
NotizAI is a learning and knowledge management tool. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes. You must not upload content that is illegal, infringes on third-party rights, or violates these Terms.
2.4 AI-Generated Content
The App uses AI to generate summaries, flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, and podcasts from your uploaded materials. AI outputs are provided as-is and may contain errors. You should verify important information independently. NotizAI is not responsible for decisions made based solely on AI-generated content.
3. Your Content and Ownership
3.1 You Retain Full Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to NotizAI — including recordings, images, PDFs, links, text notes, and any AI-generated outputs derived from your content. We do not claim any rights to your content.
3.2 Processing to Provide the Service
By uploading content, you grant NotizAI only the narrow technical permission necessary to process, store, and deliver the service to you — for example, transcribing audio, generating summaries, or creating flashcards. This permission is limited strictly to providing the service you requested. We will never use your content for model training, advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose outside of delivering NotizAI features to you.
3.3 Your Responsibility for Uploaded Content
You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You represent that you have the right to upload and process the materials you provide, and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 App and Service
The NotizAI application, its design, code, branding, and all non-user-generated features are owned by NotizAI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the App.
4.2 Feedback
If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without obligation to you. We appreciate hearing from users and take feedback seriously.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
NotizAI offers a free tier with usage limits and optional paid subscriptions (weekly, monthly, annual). Payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription terms, cancellation policies, and refund eligibility are governed by the respective store's policies. We do not process payments directly and are not liable for billing disputes that must be resolved through the app store.
6. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key commitment: your uploaded content is processed solely to deliver the service to you. We do not use it for training AI models, advertising, or any other purpose. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or accuracy of AI-generated content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NotizAI's liability for any claim arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Profile → Delete Account or by emailing support@notizai.com. Upon deletion, all your personal data and content will be permanently removed within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where possible.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the App after changes are effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration or the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

12. Language
These Terms are available in English, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. In case of any discrepancy between translations, the English version shall prevail and be legally binding.
